In recent years Greenpeace Brazil has launched a campaign called "Defend the Coral of the Amazon" in which it intends to mobilize society in order to prevent the exploitation of oil on the Brazilian coast. Recently discovered by biologists, an immense wall of marine Corals extends from Brazil to Central America and houses a multitude of marine species. Near the Amazon River Delta, oil companies intend to explore oil with drilling near the Amazon coast.

I photographed the biodiversity of the region to document the richness of the Amazon rainforest and the traditional way of life of local populations for Greenpeace Brazil.
